Apart from its purely economic pursuits, ROLMEX SA has also been an active patron of culture.
The collection our company has amassed includes such works of art as a painting “Cardinal Giovanni Medici and Pomponius Laetus at the Roman Excavations” by Maria Magdalena Andrzejkowicz-Buttowt which dates from 1879, or a sculpture “Mickiewicz Awakening the Genius of Poetry” by Antoni Kurzawa which dates from 1895.
It was also with the support from our company that Wawel Royal Castle in Cracow became the rightful owner of the only surviving cast of the “Procession to Wawel Castle” sculpture (1908-1911) by Wacław Szymanowski (1859-1930). The only bronze cast of the original piece of art, which was commissioned for Rolmex SA by Wawel Royal Castle, now adds splendour to our corporate headquarters.
