Indykpol S.A.

The history of the company goes back to 1951. Since 1991, INDYKPOL has pursued its activity as a private-owned company formed under the commercial law. Ever since INDYKPOL’s privatisation, Rolmex SA has been its majority shareholder and strategic investor. Rolmex SA and its subsidiary currently hold more than 80% of all the votes in the General Meeting of Company Shareholders. In April 1994, INDYKPOL obtained the status of a public company, and since October 12, 1994, the shares of the company have been listed at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The INDYKPOL Group is the largest Polish producer of turkey meat and processed goods, holding a 25% share in this segment of the domestic market. The backbone of the group is INDYKPOL as the strategic investor holding stocks and shares in the following companies:

• Lubuskie Zakłady Drobiarskie Eldrob S.A. Joint-Stock Company, with its seat in Świebodzin – 97.5%,
• Indykpol Fermy Sp. z o.o., with its seat in Olsztyn – 100.0%,
• Indykpol GmbH, Germany – 100.0%,
• Witkorm Sp. z o.o. Limited Liability Company, Ukraine – 100.0%.

The Group of Companies also comprises two branch offices based on subsidiary companies incorporated into the structures of Indykpol SA:

• Lublin-based Branch Office, and
• Frednowy Turkey Breeding Centre Branch Office.

INDYKPOL SA integrates and co-ordinates the co-operation between all the companies and production plants which are members of the Group, sharing with them its expertise in the area of poultry breeding, dressing and processing. The company has specialised in turkey breeding, turkey meat and processed goods production for over 30 years and has become a market leader in this industry. Owing to its nationwide distribution network, the company has been able to offer its products to customers from all over the country. Moreover, the company enjoys recognition as an exporter of turkey meat, goose carcasses and parts to the EC market. The company’s years’ long experience in processing technologies, production process management and marketing strategies is used to expand the business of the Group.
